Prins S. and The Goat – 6:30 PM, Phoenix

The mix of corny humor, sensitive poetry and pounding electro that Prins S. and De Geit presented was one of the highlights last year. Then they closed the festival on Sunday night in the Roxy, today they are promoted to the Phoenix, the second largest stage on the Schijndelse meadows. Will it be as legendary around dinner time as it was last year at night? Today you will find the answer.

Amenra – 10:00 PM, The Jack Daniels Stage

This formation from Kortrijk, Belgium, has been working internationally for more than twenty years. And they do this with the heaviest hammers you can imagine. Dragging, slow post-metal in which thunderous guitar violence and vocals on which poet and actor Colin van Eeckhout screams himself hoarse alternate with the kind of subdued moments where you can hear a pin drop. The loud-soft dynamics will be fine here tonight.

Kees van Hondt – 0:00, Loco Royale

Kees van Hondt was a cult hero for regular visitors to Lowlands for years. The DJ with the deadpan face and pointed party hat closed the event on Sunday night for years with a party full of Balkan beats and carnival classics, at which the delirious audience stood en masse waving branches and plants. For several years now, they have shamefully dropped that ‘Keesworthy’ tradition in Biddinghuizen. Paaspop is happy to take over the baton.
