Official listings on the web LEGO Store confirm international pricing for LEGO Disney 43248 Inside Out 2 Mood Cubes, offering a closer look at the numbers.
Following an early reveal from German retailer JB Spielwaren LEGO Group has now officially unveiled Disney 43248 Inside Out 2 Mood Cubes, a set launching in May, ahead of the film sequel due out in June. We now know that the LEGO Disney set costs £29.99 / $34.99 / €34.99.
The set includes two rotating mood cubes, with different emotions on different sides of the brick-built cubes. You can customize the build using nine mood plates to show what emotion you’re feeling, with the support of included characters Joy and Anxiety. They are also joined by thinkers from Foreman and Margie, simply constructed from colored circles.
Other familiar markers from the film include two memory balls, in both Joy and Anxiety’s colors, as well as a stripped-down emotions console, with colors representing many of the emotions you’ll recognize from the first film, as well as those of other newcomers. besides fear.
Since only Joy and Anxiety are included as characters, this suggests that these two will be the main duo of the upcoming sequel, rather than Joy and Sadness as in the first film. As main character Riley approaches her teenage years, we can probably expect to see Joy struggle with how to keep her human happy in the face of the anxiety that surfaces.
