Live chat with the municipality
--

That is how it works

  • A live chat pops up when an employee is available.
  • Ask your question via chat.
  • In any case, wait 30 seconds for a response.

What is not possible via a live chat?

  • Questions that we cannot or may not handle via a live chat include policy questions, product requests or questions that require privacy-sensitive information. You cannot make an appointment with the municipality via a live chat. We answer more complicated questions by telephone or e-mail.
  • To report a public space notification, use the online form. You will then receive feedback on your report by email.
  • Please note: never send privacy-sensitive data such as your citizen service number (BSN) or bank account number via a live chat. The municipality never requests or sends privacy-sensitive information via WhatsApp or a live chat. If exchange of that type of information is necessary, please use the contact form. In our privacy statement you can read more about how the municipality of Leiden handles your data carefully.
