The kick-off of the match between SC Heerenveen and PSV has been postponed by at least ten minutes. The kick-off should have been at 6.45 pm in the Abe Lenstra Stadium, but because many home supporters are not yet in their seats due to traffic chaos around the Frisians’ home base, that moment has been postponed.

PSV can officially secure the national title today. With a win in Friesland, and Feyenoord losing a point at Go Ahead Eagles later in the evening, the championship cannot escape the team of coach Peter Bosz. However, the journey from Eindhoven did not go smoothly: the PSV team bus also got stuck in traffic, causing the team to arrive at the stadium later than expected.

The supporter buses that traveled from Brabant have now arrived at their destination, but this does not apply to many supporters of the home team. To give them the opportunity to experience the match from the start, according to a tweet from SC Heerenveen, the kick-off has been postponed by ten minutes, meaning it will take place at 6.55 pm.
