Two injured in serious accident on A9 at Badhoevedorp junction, road closed

Accident A9 Badhoevedorp

Two people were injured in the accident and taken to hospital. It concerns a collision between two passenger cars, in which one car ended up on its side and one car turned upside down. An air ambulance was deployed for assistance. The delay has now increased to approximately 15 minutes. Traffic can take a detour via the A4, A10 and A2.

UPDATE: Rijkswaterstaat does not expect the road to be open again until the end of the afternoon. The police are still investigating the circumstances of the accident.
