Wayfarer is the system in which players can approve requested Wayspots (Pokéstops), but also view their own requests. In addition, rejected applications can also be viewed here. Changes that are requested, such as a move or a name change, cannot be viewed here, although they are referred to in the email. However, that is changing today. The following changes within Wayfarer;

  • You can view changes you have requested in Wayfarer
  • You can filter by the following topics:
    • Name changes
    • Adjustments to the description
    • Location adjustments
    • Photo additions
  • You can also use upgrades to get changes done faster and you can complain if you don’t agree with the outcome
  • From then on, you can complain twice every 20 days (that was once).
  • From May 15, you can no longer submit a complaint via chat

We know that there are many players in the Netherlands who no longer request Pokéstops and that is of course a shame. Hopefully there will be a future where there is a healthier system and players dare to request again and Niantic also realizes that not every incorrect request is abuse.
