Ziggo will broadcast more than 500 football matches from the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League live via Ziggo Sport (Totaal).

All matches of all UEFA football competitions for club teams can be watched live by Ziggo Sport Totaal subscribers. Ziggo customers with a more expensive subscription will receive Ziggo Sport Totaal included in their subscription at no extra cost. Ziggo customers with a cheaper TV subscription who combine this with mobile services from Vodafon can choose Ziggo Sport Totaal as a free extra service. Customers of other providers such as KPN, Odido and Delta with Ziggo Sport Totaal as an additional TV package can also watch all matches from the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League.

Online

Some of the matches can only be watched online. Matches of Dutch clubs can be viewed live for customers of providers other than Ziggo via the Ziggo GO streaming service after creating a free Ziggo Sport Free account. Subscribers of Ziggo Sport Totaal can watch five matches live simultaneously via the linear channels of Ziggo Sport. The sixth linear channel is used by Ziggo Sport as a switching channel with the highlights and goals of all simultaneously played matches. If more than five matches are played simultaneously, the matches that are not broadcast linearly can be viewed via the Ziggo GO app. A Ziggo Sport Totaal subscription is required for this. Eighteen matches will be played simultaneously in the final round of the Champions League group stage and will therefore also be broadcast live by Ziggo Sport.

Presenters and analysts

The existing team of presenters – including Wytse van der Goot, Bas van Veenendaal, Rafael van der Vaart and Marco van Basten – will be expanded with new names due to the large number of competitions spread over several days a week. Most notable are Hélène Hendriks, Noa Vahle, Armin Shah, Theo Janssen, Royston Drenthe and Giovanni van Bronckhorst. Jan van Halst also returns as an analyst after his adventure at Ajax.

Talent

Marcel Beerthuizen, director of Ziggo Sport, is happy with the expansion of the team: “With so many live football matches, we are naturally scaling up as a sports channel. Top football also requires top talent from us. That is why we are happy with the arrival of Hélène, Noa and Armin as new colleagues for Wytse and Bas. Together with all the commentators and analysts, they will make it a wonderful football season.”
