Four goals, but no winner. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have kept each other in balance during their first leg in the semi-finals of the Champions League. Vinicius gave the Royals the lead against the run of play, but Sané and Kane turned the score around in 4 crazy minutes. In the end, Vinicius again provided the equalizer from eleven meters. The decision will be made at the Bernabeu next week.

- Key moment: After a strong turnaround with two goals in four minutes, Bayern Munich seems to be on its way to a 2-1 victory, but that is without an unnecessary penalty violation by Kim. Vinicius can still bring Real alongside in the final phase.
- Man of the match: Vinicius Junior was decisive for Real again. He opened the scoring with a flawless finish on a wonderful pass from Kroos and his clever tap to Rodrygo led to the penalty, which Vinicius converted himself. Without a strong Neuer, the Brazilian could have scored more than twice.
- Remarkable: Real Madrid is gradually becoming the real fear for Bayern Munich. The Rekordmeister has not managed to beat the Royal in the last 8 mutual matches. It also lost six of them.
Deadly efficient Real gives Bayern an ice-cold shower
No Supercup, no 12th national title in a row and no DFB-Pokal. If FC Bayern Munich wants to win a trophy this season, it must happen in the Champions League. That realization inspired Bayern to an impressive blitz start. After just 40 seconds, Lunin already needed an excellent save to keep Sané from making it 1-0.
It was the intro to a strong opening quarter from Bayern, in which Real Madrid barely got the ball and had to suffer the game. Bayern combined smoothly and piled up the goal attempts, although they lacked precision and venom.
Real did that much better. The first chance halfway through the first half resulted in an immediate goal. Kroos scored against his ex-club with a beautiful through pass to Vinicius and, face to face with Neuer, the Brazilian finished it off flawlessly. Ice cold shower for Bayern.
It was also the only chance for Real, which started playing better after the opening goal. Bayern, on the other hand, was no longer able to approach its level at the start of the match and cut its teeth on a compact block at Real.
