The police are looking for witnesses to a failed kidnapping at the Nabucco in the Schollevaar district. The incident took place on April 12, but the police have only now made it public.

On Friday evening, April 12, a man tried to kidnap a 36-year-old man from Vlaardingen from a house on Nabucco. The victim was threatened with a firearm, but after a struggle the kidnapper fled.

The perpetrator drove away in a dark gray Volkswagen Caddy, of a model as seen in the header photo. Investigation has shown that on that Friday it was parked in front of the door of the house in question on Nabucco all day, possibly with the kidnapper inside.

The police have not shared any further information about the incident.

For further investigation, the Police is looking for people who may have seen the car standing or driving in the neighborhood, especially on the Friday of April 12. Or people may have other information that could be useful.
