The Ford Mustang Mach-E Rally has a tuned version of the Mustang Mach-E GT’s drivetrain, consisting of two electric motors. Ford aims for at least 950 Nm of system torque and a system power of 358 kW. 3 Mustang Mach-E Rally has a lithium-ion battery with a usable capacity of 91 kWh.
The unique suspension is 20 millimeters higher compared to the MustangMach-E GT. Furthermore, this Rally version is equipped with specially tuned springs, MagneRide shock absorbers3 and 385 millimeter Brembo brake discs at the front with red brake calipers.
White rims
The Mustang Mach-E Rally dives into the mud with rugged, gloss white 19-inch rally-style alloy wheels, inspired by Ford’s rich history in rallying. The wheels are fitted with 235/55 R19Michelin CrossClimate2 tires, which have a larger sidewall compared to the GT version and offer better grip on loose surfaces.
With a view to off-road use, Ford finishes the underside with protective plates around the electric motor at the front and rear. Furthermore, a protective foil layer has been applied to the door panels and wheel arches to prevent paint damage.
RallySport driving mode
The Mustang Mach-E Rally features Ford’s first-ever RallySport driving mode, which is specifically designed for off-road driving. This driving mode adjusts the electronic control systems to allow a greater slip angle. The unique driving mode promises linear throttle response for better control and offers more aggressive damping for better handling in corners on loose surfaces. Moreover, thanks to this new driving mode and the new tires, the Mustang Mach-E Rally also performs in snow and other slippery road conditions, according to Ford.
Rear wing inspired by that of the Focus RS
The Mustang Mach-E Rally also impresses visually with its striking features, such as a large rear wing inspired by that of the FocusRS. Other details include striking contrast accents on both the top and bottom of the body, a unique front spoiler, a black painted roof and a characteristic and functional front bumper with built-in rally-inspired fog lamps. Ford supplies every Mustang Mach-E Rally standard with two racing stripes that complement the bold color choices. The car is available in Grabber Blue, Shadow Black, Eruption Green, the striking Grabber Yellow (the standard paint), Star White or the new Glacier Gray.
White accents in the interior
The interior promises a combination of comfort, functionality and style that matches the iconic white wheels. Characteristic are the glossy white accents on the dashboard, the lower spokes of the steering wheel and contrast stitching on the doors. The Ford-designed sports seats with glossy white backrests and the ‘Mach-E Rally’ lettering in the seat complete the Rally party.
The Mustang Mach-E Rally can be ordered immediately and the price is € 65,200. Delivery from the fourth quarter of 2024.
