Since last week, current season ticket holders have been given the opportunity to renew their card for the 2024/2025 season. The prices for the new season passes will increase by 6% on average, which means an average absolute increase of approximately 25 euros. 1908.nl analyzed the price increases and listed the most striking changes.

Last year, more than 98% of all season ticket holders had renewed their place. Feyenoord expects to achieve such a high percentage again, partly due to the second place in the competition with a record number of points and participation in the Champions League next season. After all, a season ticket gives priority to purchasing tickets in the million-dollar ball. Feyenoord therefore expects that all available season tickets will be sold out despite the price increase.

Gerard Meijer grandstand
The season tickets for the Gerard Meijer stand will cost 385 euros next season, which means an increase of +6.7%. The fanatical supporters, who traditionally sit behind the goal on the yellow side, therefore pay 24 euros more to follow the competition matches. It does not matter for the pricing whether you take a seat in the first ring, second ring or the ground floor sections.

Willem van Hanegem stand
Behind the other target, rates are catching up. In the Willem van Hanegem stand, prices were previously lower in certain sections than in the popular Gerard Meijer stand. That time is over. From now on, supporters behind both goals will watch the matches for the same season price. The previously cheaper subjects F, G and H (often used as family subjects) increased the most at just under 50 euros (+14%).

The only exception is parterrevak Y2. At +3.8%, this has a relatively low increase, compared to the other ground floor sections in the stadium (+6.7%). Section Y2 is therefore the cheapest option for a regular season ticket, apart from the special rates for seniors, youth and disabled people.

Parterre subjects
Feyenoord states that the price of a season pass is determined based on visibility and the distance to the center line. This applies everywhere in the stadium, except for the ground floor areas. The low-lying sections have the same price on the long sides of the Olympia stand (section W) and Maas stand (section Z), as the short side of the Gerard Meijer stand (section X). Only the ground floor section Y2 on the Willem van Hanegem grandstand is offered cheaper.

Disabled people
Where the sight lines also have no influence on the rate, there are places that are equipped for disabled supporters. A place on the long side (Olympia grandstand) or short side (Willem van Hanegem grandstand) has the same reasonable price of 210 euros. The price increase for those places has therefore been kept minimal by the club at +1.5%.

Seniors
Those who will be hit harder by the overall increases are seniors. Supporters who are 67 years or older will see the prices in the allocated sections D (Olympia grandstand) and K (Maas grandstand) increase by +11.4%. With an overall average increase of 6%, this means a leveling of senior benefits compared to regular season tickets.

Youth
The same picture is visible with season tickets with a youth rate. Supporters born after June 30, 2012 are eligible and will see their special rate move closer to the regular rates in percentage terms.

This trend is especially visible in the Willem van Hanegem stand, where young supporters used to be able to watch the matches most cheaply in sections EE and JJ. The prices of the season tickets there are now aligned with those of the Gerard Meijer stand. This means a price increase of 14 to 16% for young supporters in those sections. From next season, there will no longer be a distinction between the prices in the Gerard Meijer stand and the Willem van Hanegem stand, with the exception of section Y2.

Olympia grandstand
The percentage increase in season tickets is the least at 2 to 3% in the Olympia grandstand. Also in absolute terms, the increase here is the lowest at ten euros. Cards are generally more expensive here than on the short sides, which means that the absolute purchase value has been kept somewhat limited. What may play a role here is that the sections on the second ring in particular are usually the last to be sold out.
