The new iPad Air 2024 has a price tag from 719 euros. That amount is a considerable windfall: its predecessor – the iPad Air 2022 – had a suggested retail price from 789 euros. That is already seventy euros more than the entry-level model of the iPad Air 2024, but the previous iPad Air also started with only 64 GB of storage capacity. With the iPad Air 2024 you get at least 128 GB of storage space. In short, with the new Air you get more value for your money, while you have to spend less.

About the iPad Air 2024
After more than two years of waiting, the iPad Air 2022 has finally received a successor: the iPad Air 2024. Apple announced the new model on Tuesday, May 7, during the first Apple event of 2024. Presales will start immediately after the event gone. If you order a new iPad now, you can expect it at home on Wednesday, May 15. Or walk into the Apple Store, because the iPad Air 2024 will also be available in stores from the same day.
The iPad Air has been improved on several fronts. Especially in terms of size: this is the first time that an Air model is available in not one, but two screen sizes. So you can buy an 11-inch model, as well as a 13-inch model. The latter allows you to buy a large iPad for the first time without paying a Pro price.
Furthermore, the new iPad is quite similar to its predecessor. The casing is still made of aluminum and has flat, rounded edges around the screen. At the back it still has the same (wide-angle) camera, the selfie camera at the front is now on the right side of the housing, in the middle of the iPad. Furthermore, the M1 processor of the iPad Air 2022 has been retired: the iPad Air 2024 has an even more powerful and faster M2 chip. There is also support for the new Apple Pencil Pro.
