The number of users who use Reddit every day has increased by more than a third compared to a year earlier. The social medium’s first public quarterly figures show that Reddit attracts an average of 82.7 million users every day.
According to Reddit, the increase in daily user numbers mainly comes from the United States. The number of users there increased by 45 percent, to 41.5 million users. Outside the United States, the platform has 41.2 million users, bringing the total to 82.7 million. Reddit also says it earns more per user, namely about $3 per month per user. That is about 8 percent more than a year earlier.
It is also striking that there are relatively more non-logged-in users active on a daily basis than logged-in users. A year ago, most daily active users were logged in to the platform. The number of weekly active users has also increased. That is 306.2 million this year compared to 218 million in the first quarter of last year. Reddit went public in March 2024.
