Here we continue with the Battle of Amsterdam, which has now moved to the Rokin. The riot police have just put on gas masks, and they usually do that for a reason. It is announced that the riot police are going to intervene, and they come (for the viewers) from the other side.
But for everyone who missed it: Tom Staal went to the UvA occupation of the Binnengasthuis earlier today. But yes, one person’s right to demonstrate is apparently not another’s right to a free press. And as if the devil was playing with it, a little later the Amsterdam triangle sent the riot police against the occupiers, and that continued for quite a while. Anyway.
