Eels fans will be watching on eagerly with young gun Blaize Talagi set to wear the No.1 for the first time in his short NRL career.

The teenager replaces Clint Gutherson who has been sidelined due to a knee surgery, with Parramatta faithful getting a look into the future.

Talagi has declined an option in his favor to remain at the club for the 2025 season, however Eels bosses will sit down to negotiate a deal in the hopes of retaining his services.
