Press conference Roger Federer
11:45-12:45
It is of course no surprise that Federer will stop playing tennis at the age of 41, but the shock is nevertheless great. Tennis without the Swiss all-rounder? That was about twenty years ago. Fortunately, we can enjoy Federer one last time during the Laver Cup, when he takes on Team Europe against Team World.
It will be a farewell in style, because one more time the Big Three is complete and Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Federer step onto the same track. If you include Andy Murray, you could even speak of a final reunion of the Big Four. All this takes place at the O2 Arena in London.

Double down with Nadal one more time?
The attention for Federer is huge, while we don’t even know what the goodbye will look like yet. Reportedly, ‘King Roger’ likes nothing better than doubling up with Nadal one more time, if the knee holds, and this should all be happening Friday night.
More details and more statements will follow on Friday during the press conference, which can be followed via the live stream at the top of this article. The press moment with Federer, around the Laver Cup, starts at 11:45 am. The stream is available from a slightly earlier moment.
