EINDHOVEN – A car crashed into the facade of a house on Bisschopsmolen on Thursday evening during a police chase through Eindhoven. The police arrested the two occupants, a 30-year-old man from Eindhoven and a 40-year-old man. One of them was injured in the collision and was taken to hospital.
The driver ignored a police stop sign and drove away at high speed. It is not yet clear why he ignored the stop sign. During the chase, the driver committed several traffic violations.
The ride ended when the men tore down the sidewalk and jammed themselves against the facade. Two parked cars next to the house were also hit. These cars were damaged by the collision.
The home that was hit suffered serious damage: cracks in the wall and loose bricks weakened the house. That is why the municipality has arranged for a contractor to support the wall. Before this has happened, the crashed car cannot be removed. The car is seized and taken away by the police.
