The Netherlands turned orange on King’s Day, but this did have consequences for the viewing figures on primetime. Even proven formats struggled to retain viewers.

The orange-related programs on primetime had more difficulty appealing to viewers. For example, the King’s Day concert scored a mediocre 333,000 viewers, compared to 819,000 last year.
