Three people were injured in a shooting in the Finnish city of Vantaa on Tuesday. The police have arrested a suspect. Both the suspect and the injured are twelve years old.

The shooting took place at a school in Vantaa, a suburb of the capital Helsinki in southern Finland. This is a school with approximately eight hundred students aged between six and fifteen years.

It is still unclear whether the suspect and victims are students at the school. The police are still investigating what exactly happened. The three injured people were taken to hospital.

People were urged to stay away from the school. Local residents were asked not to open their doors to strangers.

According to the school director, the danger has now passed with the arrest of the perpetrator.
