Prince William and Princess Catherine shared a new photo of their daughter, Princess Charlotte, on Thursday in honor of her ninth birthday. The photo was taken by 42-year-old Catherine.
The Prince and Princess of Wales shared the photo of Charlotte via Instagram and “Happy 9th birthday, Princess Charlotte,” they wrote. ‘Thank you for all the sweet messages today.’
At the end of April, the British court also shared a birthday photo of Prince Louis, William and Catherine’s youngest child. That photo was also taken by the Princess of Wales. The British princess recently came under controversy because she had edited another family photo. She later apologized for this.
Princess Catherine (Kate to intimates) announced last month that she is being treated for cancer. After a successful operation on her abdomen earlier this year, she seemed free of the disease, but she was later diagnosed with cancer. She is now receiving chemotherapy.
