Bitcoin price struggles around $66,000, important day ahead

--

Bitcoin (BTC) is still having a hard time. Yesterday the price fell sharply, and bitcoin is having a hard time finding its way back up. Bitcoin is at a slightly lower price than yesterday, with most altcoins following this path. In this morning update we update you on the current state of the market and look ahead to what’s to come today.

Bitcoin’s sideways price action

Bitcoin took a sharp dive overnight yesterday and then fell further in the morning to a low of around $64,500, which was reached around 3:30 PM. Since then, the price has moved sideways, mostly around $65,000.

A few times the $66,000 was briefly exceeded. Last night, bitcoin also climbed higher, so it is now above this price level.

If bitcoin manages to rise further, the next resistance level will be just above $67,000.

However, the key price zone is around $69,000. This level will have to be transformed into support in order to look forward to new record prices. If Bitcoin corrects further, the next stop that could potentially provide support is at $64,000. The area around $60,000 is crucial to keep an eye on.

At the time of writing, the BTC price on crypto exchange Bybit powered by SATOS is equal to $66,004. On the Dutch crypto exchange Bitvavo, the BTC price in euros amounts to 61,409. Compared to 24 hours ago, BTC is down 0.48%.

Crypto top 10 narrowly falls, but Solana rises

As mentioned, most crypto coins are currently facing a decline. However, there are no major losers to note. Within the top 10 largest crypto coins, there is no coin that has lost more than 2% in the past 24 hours.

For example, ethereum (ETH) fell by 1.63%, ripple (XRP) by 1.88%, dogecoin (DOGE) by 1.71% and cardano (ADA) by 1.19%.

Solana (SOL) has actually increased in value during this time frame. The solana price has undergone an increase of 2.59%.
