I think you are mentioning unrealistic numbers that are not achieved even for petrol cars.

What you outline (900km in 5 minutes) I can only place in terms of petrol/diesel cars for holiday trips. But then I hope that if you have traveled 900 km, you have taken at least 3 x 10 minute breaks (3 x 320 km is also >900 km). And those 5 minutes are only if you don’t have to wait, pee, number 2, have lunch, get lunch, smoke a cigarette, you name it.

For commuting, an electric car will always beat refueling in terms of handling time, provided it has its own charging station. It takes me 10 seconds to put the plug in the car and 10 seconds to take it out (I don’t think it even costs me that), in total it takes me 20 seconds for a full battery of 400km.
In your example, 5 minutes (I assume you live at the gas station), I can charge my car 15 times. But I don’t think you’re referring to this, because the car doesn’t have to be full in 5 minutes.

Completely agree that current fast charging speeds are not good enough to compete with petrol/diesel.
