Last weekend, Marco Borsato and the woman who filed a complaint against him received some intense news. It has been almost two and a half years since charges were filed against the singer, but the case continues. The lawyer couple Knoops have informed Shownieuws that Marco will most likely only appear in court in 2025. “I just think for everyone involved: another year,” said presenter Dyantha Brooks.
‘Marco’s career is ruined’
A few months ago, a good friend of Marco said that the singer was not doing well. “Marco’s career is ruined and even if it turns out in the future that he is not guilty of what he is accused of, the question remains how he will ever get it back on track,” the friend said in conversation with weekly magazine Privé. “His world collapsed when he was told by his lawyers that he was facing prosecution.”
