This delightful cartoon series has a tentative agreement with Netflix pending the screenplay.

The iconic cartoon series Scooby Doo from Hanna-Barbera ran from 1969 to 1976. Since then, there have been several reincarnations of the ever-chattering Scooby, who solves the necessary riddles with his friends.

Josh Appelbaum and Scott Rosenberg (Cowboy Bebop, High Fidelity) write the screenplay and if this is approved by Netflix, then there is an agreement in principle for the live-action film adaptation.

Not the first film adaptation

In the early 2000s, there were already two successful live-action film adaptations, and most recently the second season of the spin-off animated seriesVelma starts.

Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, known from the hit series You, its executive producer. Filming will take place at Warner Bros. Television studio, as they own the Hanna-Barbera animation studio

Not quite done yet

Officially, neither Berlanti nor Netflix have commented yet, as the agreement has not yet been fully ratified.
