Alisha and Noud cannot agree on the location of their new home. Noud explains: “It is quite difficult to look for a house together if one prefers Tilburg and the other prefers Eindhoven.”
Presenter Martijn Krabbé responds to this: “You now describe our biggest problem for the coming months.” He asks Alisha if she wants to leave Eindhoven. “I’d rather not,” she answers honestly. “But anyway, in the end you choose each other. Choosing Noud indirectly also means choosing Tilburg. But I have everything in Eindhoven: my family, my friends and work. I’ve lived here all my life.” The opposite applies to Noud: “I actually have everything in Tilburg.”

Real estate agent Alex van Keulen, handyman Bob Sikkes and interior expert Roos Reedijk visit the Brabant couple to discuss their wishes. The requirements and wishes are hidden in home-baked fortune cookies. Requirements such as ‘attractive street’ and ‘at least 120 square meters’ come from the baked goods. Real estate agent Alex tries to temper the couple’s expectations: “Space, luxury and location are the three most important factors for the price of a home.” He also checks the exact location of the couple’s desired location: “Suppose I can buy a nicer house for less money in Tilburg?” Alisha answers: “Then we will live in Tilburg. In the end I choose Noud.”
Tilburg
Ten days before the concession clock, Alex succeeded: he found a house for the couple. In Tilburg. Martijn drives Alisha and Noud to their new home. Along the way, Alisha starts to get nervous. They then stand blindfolded in front of their new house. “It’s Tilburg, honey!” Noud immediately shouts when he takes off his blindfold. After a tour of the house, Alisha says that she would like Noud to live in Tilburg: “And then I am happy too. I think I’ll have to let this land for a few weeks.”

Three weeks before the move, Martijn visits the couple again. “How are you?” he asks. Alisha tells honestly: “When I was just told that we were going to live in Tilburg, I was shocked. I really shed a tear at home. All the emotion came out. But the move is getting closer and we want to work towards that in a positive way. We have a house and that was the goal in the end.”
