The second edition of the Rondje Paterswoldsemeer will take place on Saturday, June 15. A midsummer evening walk around the Paterswoldsemeer for charity: Stichting Leergeld Groningen. The foundation is committed to encouraging children and young people from families with little money to participate in activities at and outside school. Rotary Groningen-Oost supports this good cause by organizing this midsummer walk. An attractive route of about 11 kilometers with various sights will be walked along the banks of the lake from 7 p.m.
Participants can register for this event via the website rondjepaterswoldsemeer.nl. The entire proceeds from all tickets sold go to Stichting Leergeld Groningen. The goal is to prevent social exclusion of children from families with financial problems. School supplies, sportswear, swimming lessons, a bicycle…. It’s all necessary for growing children. In all those cases where this is difficult, Stichting Leergeld Groningen provides a safety net. The motto is: All children can participate, because participating now will count later!
