A former employee has sued rapper Ye for discrimination and intimidation, among other things. According to American media, the man believes that the artist has created an “unsafe working environment”. He demands damages.

Trevor Phillips says his former employer repeatedly berated and humiliated him because he is black. “Phillips never witnessed West yelling at or cursing at a white person, but saw and experienced numerous instances of West yelling at black people,” the lawsuit alleges. TMZ has in hand.

Phillips started at the rapper’s fashion company in November 2022 and later also worked at his now defunct private school. During that period, he is also said to have heard Ye make several anti-Semitic comments. “Hitler is great, he is the reason we have cars,” Ye reportedly said in front of Phillips. The rapper previously came under fire for similar statements and lost several collaborations.

The former employee also accuses Ye of discrimination against gays and inappropriate sexual comments. Phillips is also said to have been fired in the presence of “more than a hundred” people.

The rapper has not yet responded to the complaint.
