Joost Klein will be assisted on stage during the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden by the Brabant influencer Appie Mussa. This was announced on Tuesday evening in the talk show Sophie & Jeroen.

25-year-old Appie Mussa, whose official name is Abdulahi Mussa Ali, was born in Den Bosch as a child of Somali parents. He grew up in Eindhoven, where he lived with his parents and two brothers. Mussa has 1.1 million followers on TikTok and 176,000 followers on Instagram, who watch his sketches there.

He already released a song (Sexy Song) with Joost Klein in 2021 and also appeared in the video clips ‘Go, Acid!’ and the Eurovision Song Contest song Europapa, both by Joost Klein. He is also known for the NPO series Vakkenvullers. This season he is participating in the television program Hunted.

In addition to Klein, he will be accompanied on the Eurovision stage by the influencer Stuntkabouter.

Ultimate honor
Appie Mussa calls it an ultimate honor to share the stage with Joost Klein. What exactly Mussa and Stuntkabouter will do on stage on May 9 during the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö is unknown.

Gover Meit (Stefano Keizers), the creative leader of the Eurovision act, said at Sophie & Jeroen that the audience and the people at home have a lot to expect. “We left nothing to chance. We worked every day for nine months to turn that three-minute act into something that we could please everyone in the world.”
