This is what you pay for one coin this year at the Liberation Festival in Zwolle

Go crazy to music by Suzan & Freek, Rondé and Chef’Special. It is possible on Sunday, May 5, 2024 during the Overijssel Liberation Festival (BFO) in Zwolle. Nice with a drink, but what will you pay for a wine, beer or soft drink this year?

The Zwolle Liberation Festival is free, as in recent years, in Park de Wezenlanden. To buy food and drinks on site, you pay with coins. You are not allowed to bring your own food and drinks.

Coins come in sets of four

This year you will pay around 3.63 euros per coin. You can get them per four pieces for 14.50 euros. Buying one or two coins is therefore not possible.

Last year one coin cost 3.30 euros, wrote De Stentor. In 2022 the price was 3 euros per coin. If we go back even further in time, to 2010, the coin price was 2.20 euros, 1Zwolle wrote at the time.

Where do you get coins?

You can get the coins for the Liberation Festival in Zwolle at coin cash registers and coin machines. Here you pay with cash or your debit card. “Credit cards are also accepted. The payment methods are also indicated on the payment terminals,” the organization reports on the site.

Exchange coins

Enough partying and not using all your coins? Then you can exchange them. This is possible until 00:00 at the large box offices on the west side of the Festivalboulevard and on the Hoofdveld near Windesheim Danstheater. Please note: you will only get the money back with return pins. “We do not work with cash,” the organization reports on the site.

This is the line up

This year, the main stage will include Chef’Special, Rondé, Suzan & Freek and the Zwolle rapper Sticks. On small stages you will see performances by Trickebolt, Elephant, Hiigo, DJ St. Paul and Ploegendienst. You can check out the full line-up here.
