HEEMSKERK/BEVERWIJK – Six pleasant elderly people from Beverwijk left for the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam on Wednesday, March 27. “We’ve never seen the Night Watch. That is certainly one of our wishes,” said Mr and Mrs Molenaar. This world-famous painting by Rembrandt was therefore immediately visited upon arrival. Frans Hals’ exhibition was also included in the viewing. We had a nice chat over a cup of coffee and cake in the restaurant.
