The board of the Art and Culture 4-Day Midden-Drenthe (KC4D) enthusiastically announces the Atelier Route, which will take place in September. Artists can register again, new talents are also welcome to participate.

Remy van Tilburg is the new chairman and is working energetically: “The Atelier Route not only offers the public the opportunity to admire art, but also to take a look at the studios of the artists themselves. Meeting the artists is easy and accessible, giving visitors more insight into the work they see or experience.”

Wider audience

Henk Jan Huiting has made way for Van Tilburg after six years of dedicated service. This theater maker has new ambitions to appeal to a broader audience by integrating different art disciplines: “We strive to make art and culture in our region even more vibrant and accessible to everyone.”

More art disciplines

While the Atelier Route has mainly focused on visual work in recent years, the KC4D wants to present more art disciplines to the public this year. The organization is looking for artists from all disciplines, such as music, dance, theater, film, visual arts, architecture, literature or new media. Whether it concerns independent work or participating in a collaborative project with another artist, everything is allowed.

To register

Artists from Central Drenthe who want to participate in the Atelier Route on 7/8, 14/15 and 21/22 September can register via [email protected]. “This is an excellent opportunity to present work to a new audience, meet other artists and be part of a lively cultural event in Central Drenthe,” concludes Van Tilburg.
