Free liberation day concert in the Koorkerk in Middelburg
MIDDELBURG – On Sunday, May 5, Festival Zeeland Klassiek celebrates freedom with a free concert in the Koorkerk in Middelburg. This is the final concert of the Academy, which is part of the education program of Festival Zeeland Klassiek. The final concert is the conclusion of the 5-day master classes that 12 students followed under the guidance of violinist Lisa Jacobs, among others, at the Zeeland Music School in Middelburg. The Middelburg business association (VOM) makes it possible for the concert to be attended for free. Festival Zeeland Klassiek is an international music festival that takes place annually at various locations in Zeeland. The organization is in the hands of the Zeeland Chamber Music Foundation, led by artistic director Lisa Jacobs. The festival will take place from June 28 to July 7, 2024 with the theme ‘Dutch Artists on the world stage’. The emphasis is on the female composer. Would you also like to visit the final concert?
