Buy Bitcoin with SEPA, free BTC withdrawals

With the arrival of Strike in Europe, including the Netherlands, the app now offers the opportunity to buy, sell, send and withdraw bitcoin. “Today is an important day for Strike as we now reach almost 100 countries around the world,” said Jack Mallers, a well-known Bitcoin developer who is driving the crypto’s adoption worldwide.

“As the third largest economy in the world and with over 440 million inhabitants, Europe offers enormous opportunities for Bitcoin adoption.”

Users can buy bitcoin directly with free and unlimited SEPA euro deposits from their bank account. “Our goal is to provide an app that is not only beautifully designed, but also functional, secure and accessible to billions of people around the world,” Mallers added.

Strike offers many features

The Strike app offers a wide range of features for both individual users and companies. In addition to standard crypto transactions, the app offers support for P2P (peer to peer) transfers via the Lightning Network, which enables fast and cross-border transactions.

Users can also take advantage of the ‘Send Globally‘ feature, which allows them to send value to regions such as Africa and other parts of the world. Everything with a view to making international payments cheaper and more transparent.

Within the Strike app, users can also take advantage of the automatic bitcoin buying feature. This feature allows users to set up recurring purchases such as hourly, daily, weekly or monthly. Users determine the frequency and amount of money they want to spend on purchasing bitcoin.

Furthermore, users can withdraw BTC for free from the app and have it deposited into their own crypto wallets.

For businesses, Strike offers specific services such as support for Bitcoin transactions, SEPA transfers, and access to the Strike API for automated transactions. “We are also expanding our services and supporting more currencies and payment methods,” Mallers explains.

At the time of writing, it is not clear who Strike’s partner is with whom the app works to enable crypto purchases. In the Netherlands, companies offering crypto services must register with De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB).
