The police fired a warning shot and used a taser on Wednesday evening to arrest a woman in Breda. The twenty-year-old woman had moments earlier stabbed a special investigating officer (boa) with a knife.

The incident took place in the Wilhelminapark around 7 p.m. There, boas talked to the woman because she has an area ban.

The woman then stabbed one of the boas, who was injured, and fled. The rushing police then fired a warning shot. A taser was needed to get the woman under control.

The boa was responsive and was taken to hospital. The police report the incident on behalf of the boa. The suspect is being interrogated.
