The wheelchair basketball players of RBVM face a tough challenge. They must beat Devedo at home on Saturday to reach a third match in the final of the battle for the national title.

The first game in Ermelo was lost. After RBVM still led at halftime (22-31), things went wrong in the third and fourth quarters and the home club still won: 57-55. Mark Aalders was the top scorer at RBVM. He was good for 27 points.

The return is therefore on Saturday, May 4 in Middelburg, at 1 p.m. in the De Sprong sports hall. The final is a best-of-three. If both teams have won once after two meetings, the third decisive match will be played on May 11 in Middelburg.

Eredivisie: final play offs: Devedo-RBVM 57-55 (1-0). RBVM scores: Mark Aalders 27, Bert Freriks 14, Joeri van Liere 8, Elsbeth Aalders 3 and Edwin Schalkx 3.
