Sports club Sportieve Recreatie Houten, SSRH, has been offering adults in Houten and the surrounding area the opportunity to enjoy fun and varied (ball) sports for many years. No equipment, competition or gym, but playing games together in the hall! Every sports evening there are two different ball sports on the program and a sports leader is present. This provides a warm-up with walking in, exercises and a simple game and afterwards stretching exercises. Experience in a ball sport is not necessary: it is about participating in a sporty and fun way. When and where? From September to May we exercise every Monday and Friday. On Monday evenings from 8:30 PM to 10:00 PM and on Friday evenings from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM. We exercise at two different locations according to the schedule on our website, this is in the Slinger sports hall or in the Wetering sports hall, see www.ssrh.nl. Most athletes come for one evening, but two evenings is of course also possible.
To determine whether this form of varied exercise is something for you, you can participate for two evenings for free. Then bring your indoor sports shoes and a bottle of water. Please let us know if you are coming via [email protected] or WhatsApp 0636373389.
Try it before the summer break, because from May we will be doing varied free outdoor activities on Thursday evenings that everyone from Houten and the surrounding area can participate in. The outdoor program will be available on our website at the end of May. If you like it, you can already register for the next season, which starts in September in the sports halls.
