This morning the body of Errol Paris (52) was found in the Zuid-Willemsvaart near Erp in Brabant. Parris, a former kickboxer, became unwell while driving along the canal on Tuesday, according to his lawyer.

However, Parris was allowed to go again after an examination in the hospital. “He may have become unwell,” lawyer Stevens told ED.nl. This also reports that the family wants to investigate at a later date whether the hospital has been too negligent.

A witness told police on Tuesday that a car had fallen into the water. Together with the fire brigade, they arrived on the spot and started a search. Parris’ body was found today. During his career as a kickboxer, Parris faced big names in the ring such as Badr Hari, Remy Bonjasky and Alistair Overeem.
