Did you know that the public transport bicycle has been around since the year 2000? The inventor of this is Ronald Haverman and he then worked as an innovation manager at ProRail. Together with the Cyclists’ Union he devised the ‘new’ means of transport. The first public transport bicycles were placed at stations in Delft and Utrecht. You can now find them at more than 350 stations in the Netherlands.
