The list, a PDF file in the hands of RTL Nieuws, contains photos, names and telephone numbers of 14 students from Utrecht. All women are given crude sexual assessments such as ‘nice and easy, nice and horny’, ‘big tits that are good for fucking’ and ‘good blowjobs’.

At the beginning of this month there was a fuss about the distribution of a banga list entitled ‘Grietenpresentation year 23’. Just like in the new banga list, dozens of female students were judged on their appearance and performance in bed.

Utrecht Student Corps (USC)

The banga list at the time came from students of the Utrechtsch Studenten Corps (USC). Several women on the list filed a complaint. Utrecht University of Applied Sciences and Utrecht University also withdrew the subsidy.

It is not clear who the new list comes from. The new banga list does start with an introduction containing threatening texts. In the introduction, the previous banga list is cited, and it is said that apart from ‘the Senate’ (the board, ed.), ‘the rest of the Netherlands is not allowed to interfere with it’.

“We, as a group of loyal members, have seen this and are now taking action,” it reads. “[…] To protect the corps and reinforce the words, we publish this slut list.”

The makers call on the victims to stay away from public media and to stop ‘the witch hunt’ on the makers of the previous lists. “Anyone who does not want to listen is responsible for lists that will follow. We still have sufficient material and believe us, anyone who thinks we are threatening will be disappointed.”

The Utrecht Student Corps has posted a statement on the website in which they say they have ‘no reason to think that this comes from members of the USC’. “There are concrete indications that the source lies outside our association.” The association says it is in close contact with the police and calls on everyone ‘urgently and emphatically’ not to play a role in distributing and sharing the list.

Declarations

Parents of women on the new banga list have reported to lawyer Ina Brouwer. The lawyer already represents victims of the previously published Utrecht banga list. She cannot yet say how many parents have registered. “There must be limits,” Brouwer says about the new list.

Earlier this month it was announced that the Public Prosecution Service is investigating whether those involved in the previous banga list were guilty of, among other things, doxing and defamation.
