At Feyenoord, in the run-up to the away match against Go Ahead Eagles, it is mainly about Arne Slot. Because of all the media attention, the Rotterdam team’s away match on Thursday evening is almost forgotten, but football still has to be played and there is still plenty to play for.
The big question is which choices Slot will make in the starting lineup. Justin Bijlow has been in Feyenoord’s match selection for several weeks now, but has not yet played a minute. He is about to leave and Bijlow has to go to the European Championships. They have already won everything, they don’t play for anything anymore. Bijlow needs to get into competition rhythm. Wellenreuther better? No of course not. Why else would he never play? Bijlow is better and always played goalkeeper when he was fit.”
