The 31-year-old man who was shot dead last night at the Rotterdam metro station Coolhaven is producer Siki Martina. Various media report this, partly on the basis of messages on social media from his loved ones.
Martina worked as a DJ and producer. He worked as a producer on songs by Frenna and Rich Kalashh and he was the DJ of rapper SXTEEN. He was also nominated for best producer at the Grote Prijs van Rotterdam.
‘My heart is crying’
In addition, he was the friend of singer Sarita Lorena, who is a participant of the program this season Dear SingersRijnmond reports. The shooting happened around 9:30 PM last night in the parking lot next to the metro station. Rescuers tried to resuscitate the man, but in vain.
Witnesses tell police a dark car drove off after the shooting. Police have not yet arrested any suspects.
