Large fire next to hotel in Sloterdijk

A large fire has broken out at a hotel on Molenwerf in Sloterdijk. The fire brigade is on site with a lot of equipment. The fire started outside the hotel. but has been spilled over onto a small outbuilding.

Images show that a lot of smoke has developed as a result of the fire. The fire brigade advises local residents to close windows, doors and ventilation.

The building where the fire is raging consists of a low-voltage room and a music room. According to a spokesman for the police, limited extinguishing is possible in the first instance. Full extinguishing is only possible after utility company Liander has ensured that extinguishing in that low-voltage area is safe enough.
