The Serbian national coach Dragan Stojkovic made a bizarre slip on Friday evening. The coach went very hard against the Swiss internationals of Albanian origin.
Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri came into action at Switzerland. They are both of Albanian descent. Shaqiri even claimed a starring role by celebrating his opening goal by running wildly at the Serbian fans, but after the 2-1, Stojkovic decided to take revenge.
Images show how Stojkovic rages remarkably fiercely after Serbia’s 2-1. “I’m fucking you Shiptar moms.” The national coach of Serbia would have called. The word ‘shiptar’ is a term of abuse for Albanians and therefore has a very negative connotation.
Referee Fernando Rapallini had a tough job managing this World Cup match. There were no fewer than eleven yellow cards, seven of which were on the Serbian side. Since the World Cup final between the Netherlands and Spain (fourteen times), there have not been so many yellow cards in a match on this stage, reports Football International.
