Lewis Hamilton has not won a Grand Prix in Formula 1 since 2021. The British seven-time world champion fought a much-discussed title duel with Max Verstappen that year. Hamilton now tries to look back on it positively and he learns great lessons from it.

Hamilton and Verstappen fought out an epic title duel in Formula 1 in 2021. The two drivers were exactly equal on points before the start of the season finale and after a much-discussed Safety Car phase in the final lap of the race, the title went to Verstappen . There was a lot of anger among Hamilton, his fans and his Mercedes team about the end of that title fight, and even today there is still a lot of talk about this moment.

Hamilton now says that he is trying to get the positive points out of it. The British seven-time world champion responds in an extensive interview with GQ Magazine: “Whether I was robbed? Of course, you know the story. The great thing about that moment was that my father was with me at the time. I take that with me. We are through it together. This roller coaster passed away, and we had good moments and bad moments. On the day I was in the most pain, he was there. He always taught me to get back up and hold my head high.”
