FC Den Bosch has appointed Bernard Schuiteman as head of the club’s football branch for at least two seasons. The former footballer worked as a scout at Feyenoord and will now work for number nineteen from the Kitchen Champion Division.

In addition to his position as a scout at Feyenoord, Schuiteman also had a role as Head of European Recruitment at Urawa Red Diamonds in Japan, a club with which Feyenoord collaborates. Schuiteman has been appointed as technical director by FC Den Bosch. He will be responsible for the club’s sporting direction, transfer policy, scouting, youth training and management of the staff.

In addition to Schuiteman, there is also a good chance that Bjarne Hansen will leave Feyenoord. The scout has an expiring contract and the Rotterdam team has no intention of retaining the specialist of the Scandinavian market any longer. Christos Akkas, Erik Elias and Micha Jansen are part of the scouting. The scouting is assisted by Govert Soeters and Koen Gerla and receives guidance from Chief of Football Development Jelle Goes.
