Marko proud: “That simply makes Max unbeatable”

Max Verstappen made a big impression again last weekend in China. The Dutch Red Bull Racing driver won the race with great ease and he also made a big impression in the sprint race. Helmut Marko states that Verstappen is currently unbeatable.

Verstappen is well on his way to his fourth consecutive Formula 1 world title. The Dutch Red Bull driver won four of the first five races of the season and is in top form. The unrest within the Red Bull team caused noise, but that has also gradually faded into the background. They are extremely happy with Verstappen at the Austrian racing team and the love seems to be mutual again.

Red Bull advisor Helmut Marko is also very pleased with Verstappen. The Austrian sees that Verstappen and his engineer Gianpiero Lambiase work together better than ever. In his column for Speedweek, Marko explains what makes Verstappen so good at the moment: “Max is no longer impatient. He is calm and he focuses on two goals: putting the car on pole position if possible and focusing on the race. This combination, this overview, coupled with excellent tire management, makes him truly unbeatable in Formula 1 at the moment.”
