Karim El Ahmadi thinks that Joseph Oosting would be a good successor to Arne Slot at Feyenoord, he indicates in Football talk on ESPN. The former midfielder is impressed by what the coach shows at FC Twente and thinks he can also do that at a higher level.

“I think he is a really good trainer,” El Ahmadi begins Football talk. “Also what he achieved at FC Twente. Everyone knows what to do. He knows where all the figures should be placed. I think he is someone who can work at the absolute top in the Netherlands.”

The former FC Twente and Feyenoord player does not want to accept the suggestion that one season in the sub-top is too short as preparation for a step to the top. “He has now done very well at FC Twente with not even the best equipment. I think he is a really good trainer, but I think Arnold Bruggink (technical director of FC Twente, ed.) will not let him go,” he concludes.

“Hey, hello, hello,” shouts the captain Feyenoord suddenly during the ceremony after the cup win.
