The away section in the Parkstad Limburg Stadium will remain empty next Friday for the match between Roda JC and SC Cambuur. In consultation with the various supporters’ associations, it has been decided not to organize ticket sales for this away match. This has to do with the supporter-unfriendly conditions set by the local triangle. The club’s board will also not travel to Limburg.
By order of the local triangle in Kerkrade, the away match against Roda JC can only be visited by a mandatory bus combination, with a cancellation procedure after the match. This means that supporters are not allowed to leave the away section immediately. The experience of clubs that have recently visited Roda JC shows that away supporters have to wait at least an hour before they can make the long journey home.
SC Cambuur and the supporters’ associations are not satisfied with these supporter-unfriendly measures and after extensive consultation it has therefore been decided not to purchase tickets for the match and to make the trip to Kerkrade with minimal delegation (only the selection, staff and media team).
