PSV’s away shirt for the upcoming football season was unveiled on Friday and this is causing a good old-fashioned fuss on social media. Many supporters do not agree with the new away colors and the new logo color, and they make that known. Some fans even want to protest with a playful action during the match on Sunday.

The new away shirt refers to the test image of a Philips television ‘that acquired an iconic status in TV history’, PSV writes on its club website. “At the same time, Puma and PSV look to the future and the new generation with the design. The innovators of the future.”

Yet not all fans seem to appreciate that innovation. After the shirt leaked last week, the reactions were not pleasant, and now that the shirt has been officially unveiled, things are not much different. Many people express themselves https://twitter.com/PSV/status/1788841403256336745 on X with vomit emoji.

Large PSV supporter groups are now even calling on fans to demonstrate against the shirt on Sunday, when PSV plays away to Fortuna Sittard. The fans’ idea is to take the old PSV shirt to the match and hold it up in protest.

What upsets many supporters is that the PSV logo on the new away shirt is yellow, instead of the traditional colors.
