Tour 2022: EF Education-EasyPost in special jerseys

EF Education-EasyPost will not appear in the familiar jerseys at the start of the Tour de France on Friday. To celebrate the return of the Women’s Tour, the team has had special jerseys made for both the men’s and women’s teams EF Education-TIBCO-SVB.

EF Education-EasyPost collaborated on the cycling jerseys with skateboard and clothing brand Palace, just as they did for the Giro d’Italia 2020 (when the team started in ‘duck jerseys’). It resulted in a pink kit with a large women’s symbol for the riders and riders of both the WorldTeam and Women’s WorldTeam EF Education-TIBCO-SVB. The racing bikes and helmets of the teams will also be given a fresh new look to match the new kit.

“The adaptation is our way of celebrating women in sport and the Tour de France Femmes,” explains team manager Jonathan Vaughters. “It’s wild, it’s daring, and it’s an exciting time for the cycling world and it should have happened a long time ago. It is an honor for our team to be able to ride this kit ahead of the women’s Tour de France. We will be fighting to keep this kit and its celebratory message at the forefront of the competition in July.”

The Tour de France is on the calendar from July 1-24. The Tour de France Femmes will start on July 24, the last day of the men’s race, and will last until July 31.
